Thursday, December 20, 2007Amazed By My Own SonAnd no, I'm not taking any credit. His "engineering mind" -- or whatever the heck it is -- is well beyond my comprehension. He's completely self-taught, too, so I can't even claim any kudos from a homeschooling standpoint. Watch the video and you'll see what I mean. The kid's got the makings of a successful entrepreneur at the ripe ol' age of fifteen! And his balloons are pretty cool, too. |

9of my readers are feeling chatty:
I'm in awe! That is way too cool.
You know who would LOVE this? Ethan would love this (and, OK, me too). I'm bookmarking this post to come back to at some point.
What a smart kid!!
:)
WOW!!! That totally rocked!
Why am I ever amazed at anything Jonathan does?
The balloons are cool enough but that video was awesome!
Oh Wow! That was Amazing!
Besides myself, Mark and the boys would Love that! Guess who I'm showing this to tonight? ;P
This is cool I am going to show this to my son's boyscout leaders and suggest they have some sort of competition between patrols to see who's goes the farthest. My only question is what happens to the ones that aren't found?
That's pretty nifty. Do they float kids yet? :)
That IS cool - and fun. Please give your son my congratulations. :)
I can't wait to show Parker!
Did he do the video, too? Homeschoolers rock. I'm SO looking forward to that kind of being blown away by my own son. Until then, I'll be blown away by yours. Wow.
My girls can't wait to try this. However, January in Ohio is not known for good sunlight, so we'll wait a few months.
