Friday, May 26, 2006Update on Introverted ReadersReally, I love you just the way you are. I'm compelled to point out (lightheartedly, of course) that even after my gentle plea to hear from my "regulars," most of you have remained steady yet silent. That's okay. I appreciate that you're here, and since you continue to visit, I must assume that you are finding something of value here. For those of you who are technical-minded, Eric has finally set me up with an RSS feed. Please click on the link to the right in order to subscribe to THE WRITE WAY HOME. And while we're pointing out links, I thought you might like to know that the author of Blogging With Ida is my sister. Yep -- flesh and blood. I love her to death. Not only that, but she writes well. And she knows what an insufferable snob I am when it comes to writing. I don't offer my praise lightly! So there you have it. A golden opportunity to listen to a "family insider." Don't think you'll be getting any "dirt" on me over there, though. Most of my sister's blogs are about my Perfect Niece and Adorable Brother-in-law. Let's face it -- you get all the "dirt" you want right here. Dead frogs, hairy armpits, arguments with my husband; the works. And now I am off to prepare lunch for guests. I'm sure I'll embarrass myself at some point during the afternoon, which will give me something to blog about next week. Happy weekend, all! |

8of my readers are feeling chatty:
I'm here! I'm here! I've been so busy finishing up my business plan that I've completely ignored my own blog, let alone visited anyone else's. So, I stopped in today to catch myself up. Hope you have a grand day, I think I'll go write a love note to my hubby now.
Oh...and have I got dirt to dish;o) I need a break from all those Ida and Sweetie stories. Lets see...what good sister story comes to mind....
TEEEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
And thank you for your praise...I certainly do know what a writing snob you are! But then again, you loved "Gretchen Bibble" so maybe you're not as picky as you think!!!
Great - finally I can can get your blog in my inbox :) - have a blessed weekend.
I'm what you call an introverted extrovert, kind of like an "innie" with an "outie" complex.
Hey Jill....
I am a regular secret stalker of your blogsite!
Please consider that statement a compliment and not a reason to like call security or anything.
I really love your posts....They are inspiring to me as a wife and mother as well as a writer/speaker.
Thanks for sharing.
I have been very slack in my reading lately so just catching up today.
I did finally email you as well :)
Ok,
I am coming out. I am NOT a faithful reader of your blog primarily because I am often the subject matter.
I seem to be fodder for your blog and most of the time, but not all of the time, the posts about me tend to be a tad overstated.
I always know whem I do something stupid and see that smirk on your face, that I will appear in your next post.
What an honor!
Your Husband
Love ya sweetie. :)
Jenn -- Hiiii! Great to see you :)
Jamie -- But Gretchen was interesting! Especially her last name. ;)
Dave -- Does that make you an introverted extrovert or an extroverted introvert?
Missionary Mom -- YAY!!!!! Thanks for leaving a comment. It's nice to "meet" you, and thanks for coming out of hiding!
Mr. Blogging Boss -- Stay tuned, sweetie......
