Saturday, March 11, 2006LogicSpencer and I were hanging out in the girls' bedroom, watching them open the boxes that contained the brand-new outfits they'd ordered for their American Girl dolls. (I know, I know -- not exactly a "boy-type" activity, but what almost-seven-year-old can resist watching a package be opened?) Once I had sufficiently "ooo-ed" and "aah-ed" over the wee sweatpants and jeans and socks and jackets, I motioned to Spencer. "Okay, dude," I said. "We need to leave now so that the dollies can have some privacy." Surely Felicity and Samantha would want to try on their new clothes, sans Little Brother. Spencer met my gaze as he walked toward the door. "But Mommy. They don't have any private parts." And I, the ever-talking wonder, had no response. |

11of my readers are feeling chatty:
LOL
Kids always seem to know just what to say hehehe
He he he
I love the way kids think. What they say is perfectly true yet it lacks the key element of the reason why.
The Bear's usual response to "Why did you do that?" is "Because I did!" LOL
LOL he has a point :-)
Although not knowing your Spencer in person - I love this kid...
Are you frightened that he's been checking??? :-)
This kid's no dummy. Though we already knew that.
Starting to miss you now!
Don't tell me the kids have finally driven you to the asylum, Jill!
It's been a couple of weeks, and I'm starting to wonder...
I love American girl dolls but ouch they are pricey.
Spencer knows of what he speaks LOL
jill, are you still there? are the guests enjoying the chickens? hope to see another blog soon! esp about the guests and the chickens!
